I work at the boundary between experience design and the systems that make experiences possible. My strongest work lives where UX, visual design, service logic, and code intersect, from redesigning AI onboarding flows to creating stage graphics broadcast live with a Head of State.
I entered design in 2017 out of a need to do exceptional multidisciplinary work. That instinct hasn't changed, what's changed is the scale and ambiguity of the problems I'm willing to take on.
How I work
Start from the structure
I start from the structure of a problem, not the shape of a solution. Most design failures are coordination failure, the wrong handoff, the missing feedback loop, the moment where a system's internal logic breaks through the surface and confuses the person in front of it. That's the layer I want to be working at.
Prototype in the right medium
I prototype in whatever medium the problem demands — sometimes Figma, sometimes deployed code. Static mocks can't answer questions about timing, error states, or how a conversational AI should behave when it's uncertain. I've been learning React and API integration specifically because I want fewer moments where I'm handing off a spec instead of shipping a thing.
Seek the least precedent
The projects I'm most proud of were the ones with the least precedent. Designing a four-actor food redistribution system for Delhi. Building an AI chatbot where the real challenge wasn't the UI, it was deciding what the system should proactively say. Creating stage graphics that would be broadcast live with the Prime Minister in frame. The brief is never the whole problem.
